Attorney Jason Chan represents individuals charged in federal court & being investigated by the federal government. His practice includes representing individuals charged with financial fraud, embezzlement, tax evasion, cyber crimes, anti-trust, securities fraud, illegal kickback, Medicare fraud, money laundering & public corruption. 

Attorney Chan also conducts internal investigations for public and private companies. The firm creates a team of experts to audit departments, investigate employee improprieties & corporate governance. These investigations are conducted in areas of accounting fraud, healthcare fraud, insider trading, anti-trust violations, improprieties involving executives, tax fraud & title IX investigations. As a former prosecutor, Attorney Chan is skilled in investigating and gathering evidence. 

Attorney Chan was selected to be apart of the merit selection panel for the reappointment of Federal Magistrate Judge David Hennessy in 2021. He is a published author in the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education books (MCLE). He has also taught several classes at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education to other attorneys on criminal matters. 

 

Attorney Chan graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology. He then went on to attend the New England School of Law where he served as Editor-In-Chief for the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law. Attorney Chan also had his comparative paper published in the spring 2007 edition of the journal.

Attorney John Seed practices white collar criminal defense in Massachusetts state courts. Attorney Seed represents clients charged with illegal kickback schemes, fraud, money laundering, tax crimes & illegal gambling in Massachusetts district, superior courts, and grand jury proceedings. He has represented many individuals being charged by the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office and county prosecutors.

 

Attorney Seed has been practicing criminal law in Massachusetts for his entire career, first as a Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney supervising the Brighton District Court and now as a state-wide criminal defense attorney based in New Bedford, Boston and Beverly, MA. He takes pride in giving every one of his clients the same intense focus to details, no matter the charge the client is facing.

 

His years of training and courtroom experience in the areas of criminal law  have provided him with a unique skill set.  Those skills, when combined with his hard working and determined attitude, have contributed to an outstanding record in the courtroom.
